What a surprise writing about Christmas week before them. But because we hear about Christmas everywhere, my mind is simply full of ideas about Christmas posts. So the question for today is: what don't I like in Christmas?

First of all I must say about shopping and buying gifts. Not because I hate spending money on buying gifts for my family and friends. I hate spending time in shop center. Who likes? Too many shops, short on time, and no ideas what to buy. Of course, there are plenty of sellers who are just waiting to help you, but let's be honest - they simply want to receive our money by selling every single stupid thing like toilet paper with Santa Claus. This all is so exhausting and we don't feel this magic, christmas ambiance. But it' s not all.

Last week at University, you are so tired and you are dreaming about your bed in your family home with diner prepared by your mum. You just want to stay calm. BUT YOU CAN'T. Your mum is angry for almost everything. Hause is not cleaned. Food for Christmas is not prepared. Gingrbreads are ugly. Christmas tree looks like it want to be burned. Everything is not alright. Everyone is angry.

Eh, why can't we just keep calm and enjoy Christmas? And that we gave yourselves? We forget about Christmas spirit.

HIMYM

This time I want to say something about my tv series which I started to watch recently. In addiction, I watch this in english! It was the time to improve my english just for a little bit.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER is a comedy about Ted's life. It all starts when Ted's best friend  (Marshall) decide to propose to his girlfriend (Lily). That situtation makes Ted think about his future. He realizes that it is the time to find love and get marry. Barney, his friend, is also ready to give him a hand and he helps him with relations with girls. Trust me, he has so much and so extraordinary ways to meet a women. When Ted meet Robin he is sure that it is a love at first sight. But it' not that easy, destiny has a different plans for him.The title is because the main story is onlt a flashbacks from the futer and Ted discribe to his children about how he met their mother.
My favorite character is Barney of cours. I find him hilarious and so awesome.He has always a incredible ideas how to pick up girls and in fact it works. And I love when he says "that is legendary". I think that the actor who plays Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) has made a wonderful work.

Do you use Instagram? Do you think that this application is just for selfies, cats and photos taken at the gym? Yes, it's is. But in this post I want to share with you some accounts which give me an inspiration and some good thoughts. Here they are:

I love this instagram thanks to simplicity. Photos are just simply magic, beautiful and inspiring. The author use only two or three colors, but on first sight we notice that white is the main color. You just can't pay no attention when you see this miracle.

On this account we find some photos od modern architecture, people but in unusual situation, some part of photoshoped photos (but they are of come from this kind of good photo). This instagram is just nice to watch.

3. ajkajk
Here we watch some of this artistic photos. Agata, because it's name of girl who have this account, travel a lot, as we can see by watching her photos. But it's definitly not a typical holidays photos. Those photos make you want to go everywhere around the world.

I love this one because I can appreciate pretty photos from Paris :) But the author don't also take the normal photos. But Joanna don't focus only of Paris. Everywhere she travel, she take a cool pics.

autumn

HELLO EVERYONE IN

Now, we admire the most beautiful season - autumn. It's my favourite! Why? Here are the reason :)

1. What I love about autumn is primarily colors! Yellow, orange, red, brown - it's fantastic! When sun is up and it gives us a litlle bit of warm sunshines, I love to walk through parks and watch this pretty colors. It gives me a great moment for rest and for thinking about my life, about funny and nice moments of my life, about little cute cats :)

2. Sometimes, I like when it rains. And I can stay in home of cours! It is the best moment for take a book, sit down near to window and read. It's really.. poetic :) Rain make me calmer, book bring me to different world and I just enjoy this magic.

3. Tea.  I am the biggest passionate of tea. I love it! When it's cold outside and I come back home, cup of tea is like a huge treasure. Tea with honey, lemon or some kind of syrup... Is there something better?

4. And last thing - I have a birthday in autumn :)

films

Today, I want to share with you my thoughts about two films which I recently watched. Only one of them is good to recommend. And remember - I am not a film expert!

Let's start with this one which is totally stupid and it's just for losing time. The title is "Don't breath" and it's about three young people who are thieves. One day they decided to break into a house of blind man - he is also a war veteran. It could be a easy way to make money, because that man has all of his saving in the house. But the man isn't as helpless as he seems and everything goes more diffucult.
It could be a nice film. I was a little bit interessted when I saw the discription. After the seance I was like "just foreget about it". Really. Maybe it is because I don't like films like this. It was predictable and disgusting. It was scary because of loud sounds (silent, silent, LOUD, silnet, silent LOUD - in this way)... It isn't what I serach in films. I don't recommended.

The second film is "Snowpiercer". It's about the world after a natural disaster. Because of global warming the gouvernment decided to spread a substance which cause the temperature lower. It didn't work as good as it could be. A gigantic winter cames. The lives on Earth was dead. But some groupe of people survived and now they live in huge train going around the world. The train is like a ecosystem with division of people based on their tickets, so we can see first class, economic class and the rest who live in horibble condition. The story is about a fight for better life. 
I like this film because the story is interesting and give us a huge reflection about humanity. We see an image of humas who make us sad and upset. It's hard to understand why people fight with each other's when the humanity is alomst dead. I recommend. 

how to be happy in october

It is a good question, isn't it? I don't want to give you a clear answer, because everyone has a different likes so it's quite difficult to prepare advices which could be helpful for everyone. It must be said that it's almost impossible to be happy during this weather. Why is it so cold outside?!

At first - don't get sick. Autumn isn't about stylish outfits, but about wearing all the clothes at the same time. Thanks to this behavior you will be prepared to the changes of temperature. We must have energy to be able to fight with autumn! We can't be sick! If you get a fashion skill and you can look beautiful and stay warm - chapeau bas!

Buy a lot of candles. If you don't like spending time in this magic ambiance, I have no idea how to help you. Candles give us this wonderful time, when we can sit down or just stay in bed and take a break with complete relax. But all of us know it, that at cold afternoons, the best option is listening to music or reading...

In my opinion the best way to stay positive in autumn is to not forget how to be a child. It is always a great idea to forget about our responsibilities for a moment and play like a child. When it's a little bit warm outside, go and search a colorful leaves and make a picture with them. Take the chestnuts and prepare a little zoo. Or stay at home and paint a colorful landscape or whatever you want. Okay, we don't have a time for this. But it's my just my nostalgy... I miss all those things and I really want to make something like what I wrote...

In this difficult time for each student, we often search something not to study. We are starting to like cooking, to play an instrument, to think about crazy things like what could we do in other lives, in other places. Generally speaking we do everything which is NOT important, of course without learing for examens. What about me? I was inspired by one of person from my english group, and now I spend too much time on thinking about this senstence:

It means that we have to waste our time sometimes to feel better and more relaxed. We need to take a break from ours responsabilities, take a breath and energy for the rest. Seriously, we need to sit down, watch the wall and have the head totally clear, without any stupid thoughts. It's something like katharsis. And it's working.

But please, take it away from me. It's time when we must prepare all the speaches, lists, mails, we must learn a lot. I can't think about wasting time. I can't stand it that I could make a cup of coffee on the island, that I could make a necklace with beads or some of great art like Picasso. I can't stand it that i could just sit near the river and take the moment, smile and chill out. No, of course not. I want to be a philologist. So shut up Marta and go back to books. Have fun to everyone!

Something good from YouTube

This time I want to recommend you one more person from YouTube stage. This site is full of interesting videos, not just for fun. We can also find there some food brain, like unknown facts, like life hacks, like information about others cultures. And on this channel there is a quite long walk through the life in Japan. It’s good if you already know this channel, but if not, I'm glad that I can invite you to watch this.

 

I want to present you Krzysztof Gonciarz who is living in Japan for few years. After a few years of his career in making funny films, he decided to start creating something else. Something better, more clever. Something what shows us his other face. And thats why the daily vlogs was created. He makes it every day, so it’s the greatest way for us to watch, recognize and understand the japanes people. Thanks to his work we can feel like we seriously are there. Next bright side which I see in Krzysztof Gonciarz, is that he’s also so funny and so intelligent.  He talks really clearly about all this things which happen to him in Japan. I appreciate his style which is quite unique and oh my God, I am so excited and so crazy about his videos. I love his channel so much.  Let’s check it and enjoy.

FRENCH

And now it's time to tell a few words about my main love in my life. In the second year of high school, I fell in love so deeply with this language. I knew already what I would like to to through my all long life. And now, after almost one year which I spend learning this language, it's exactly the same - I want to do something related with french. Whatever it could be, I have to be in close relation with french. It is a part of my heart. 

When I was young, this journey has begun. It was a little hobby. I didn't seriously think that I could do something with french someday. It was something like "oh my God, I love it, it's sound like honey, like heaven, like piece of chocolate cake, like this smelt after a storm, it's everything I love in life". Really, I was totally crazy about it. And this wonderful day came, I went to my favorite city to study my favorite language. Sounds like the most beautiful dream, doesn’t' it? 

Why does I love french? This language is classy. Everything sounds like something beautiful, like a song, like poetry. Even shit (sorry for that) sounds good, really. Or even you want to insult somebody, it sounds so good, that you think is doesn’t work ha ha. I noticed that every restaurant which wants to be very pretty, glamour, vintage (I don’t know – girly?) has a french name. Okay, almost every restaurant. Another point why I love learning this languague is because I actually can learn it, while the rest, for example maths is much harder for me

Why do I write about this? Because “winter is coming” (something for Game of Thrones fans). The hardest time for every student is coming so I don’t want to forget and I want to keep fighting. Yes, studies is like endless fight.

One stupid thing to finish. My favorite senstence in english is "so much pain", because there is the same word in french, but "pain" means "bread" :-)

why I like Poznań

I am from a little village in mazowieckie, really close to the capital of Poland, Warsaw – the city of the greatest university, of a huge number of places where students can spend some time. In Warsaw there are also so many interesting events, a lot of foreigner and of course polish people from whole Poland. The city is alive all the time. There are so many popular places, musicians, actors, politicians. All the people know Warsaw. It’s the biggest city in Poland. Warsaw is like a dream for some students or even for the rest, because there is always a work to find. For me it could be the best choice, because I have only an hour of journey from my home to Warsaw. To Poznań it takes a little bit longer – 5 hours. So what am I doing here?

 I never thought that one day I could live in Poznań. In secondary school I really liked the books series called “Jeżycjada” which is wrote by Małgorzata Musierowicz. The action of this book takes place in Poznań and I was so excited, I fell in love with Poznań even when I never was there. But I always heard “blah blah when you will start your study in WARSAW the world will be different” or “You must study in Warsaw because there are so many members of our family”. I said no, but in high school I was sure to study in this awful city. But I started to watch the videos, photos from Poznań and I read a blog the girl from here. I was a little bit obsessed about this city. I had to study here. And here I am. '

Why I like Poznań? First thing it is the people living here. I think they are the most polite people in whole Poland, seriously. They smile to me in the shop, they are always helpful when I ask them. In Warsaw people are always frustrated and angry, they don’t want to talk with others and they also think that they are the best in Poland, I suppose. Here, Live is calmer I think than in Warsaw. I like it soooo much, because I can’t stand to run every day, every hour and everywhere. At the end, I think that Poznań is the most beautiful city in Poland. Every day I take the tram, I look through the window and I say to myself “good choice”.

My favourite music band

A long, long time ago when I was looking for my kind of music I was listening to almost everything. Then one day a friend of mine showed me one song telling me "it is not bad".  I listened to it once, twice, thrice and then I knew that I need more of their masterpieces. And this way this band is with me since times of secondary school untill now.

This is exactly that song. My heart belongs to Happysad.

I won't bore you with their history etc. because I never really felt it is important, also you could simply find it in wikipedia if you really intrested in it. For me the most important thing is music. I listen to their tracks everyday and I know every single song, heard them countless times in my head and still I'm not bored with them. I never feel in so deep love with any other band.

 But what is their music about? They play alternative rock and sing in majority about love and other emotions. I love the words they use, the ideas of every song and actually that they remain simple. I always find approportiate song to the state of my feelings. So I was crying with them, I was sad and other times smiling and happy. I danced with them, had them during long walks and journeys, they accompanied me during important moments in my life. They always made me to think about my life and things happening around me. The only thing I didn't experienced yet is their concert, but hopefully it is going to change soon as they are coming to Poznań in June :)

Cows cows cows - in other words life in countryside. We all know that life in a village is different than the one in the city. But most of us don't really know how it looks like. I was born in really small village and lived whole 19 years there, so i'm going to say a little bit about this.

First major difference is the cycle of a week. People are used to five days of work, a weekend and sometimes holidays. But in village you will never get the meaning of a free day - jobs are waiting everyday and for example you can't say to the animals that you are tired and won't feed them or milk the cows. The day starts at 6 AM and lasts around 12 hours with only a few moments to take a breath. Be prepared for endless hard-working. And you think bad weather or coming Christmas will change it? Nope, it will only give more problems.

And what offers repertoire? Some of them are seasonal like hay-making, potato-lifting, harvest, sowing and others. Most of them are in summer (good bye summer holidays), and only few in winter (preparing food for animals, there is no grass so it requires much more effort). And some of them are alywas - preparing food for animals that can't eat on a grassland, cleaning after them, sometimes taking care of birth of new animal.

my village

 Even if there is always something to do living here isn't bad. The life is slow-pieced - unlike in a city you don't need to run for a tram, worry that you are late to class room or work you simply do things without hesitation. Also everyone knows everyone and help each other, there is no rivalisation but also no anonymity. Even the air is much more different than the one in the city. There is no noise of civilization. You always have food because you produce it. You can simply sit in the bosom of nature and enjoy it :)

This time I want to tell you something about learning english without feeling bored (however it's impossible to feel bored during learning english). But when you can't stand workbooks and too many vocabulary to learn, but you still don't know how to pronounce "thought" (like me), there is help on YouTube. I want to

recommend one channel on YouTube called "Po cudzemu" which is made by Arlena Witt. And here, one of her first video:

Arelna Witt shows us that we are not as good as we were thinking and simple words can be a little bit harder. She also talk about how to learn another language, how to don't be afraid in speaking english. She has so many diffrent expamples (in songs, in films, in TV series) with using the word she's talking about. I think that thanks to her we can easier remember how to pronounce difficult words.

my favourite english book

I would like to say something about my favourite english book. It is the greatest story I have ever been reading. It was when I was child, I went to the library and I saw this book. I had to take it. I fell in love after 5 pages. What is the title of this fantastic book? HARRY POTTER of course.

Harry Potter is known by everybody, I suppose. But I am going to say something about this series.
Harry Potter is the boy who comes from the family of magicians, but his parents are dead and he's living with his uncle and aunt. He has difficult life, but one day he receive a letter from the school of magic, from Hogwart. And here the adventure begins. Harry met Hermiona Granger and Ronald Weasly. They are friends who fight against the black magic - the bad kind of magic and also against bad people.

Why I love Harry Potter? Because of all those things which are told to young people. J. K. Rowling, the author of the series, wants to tell us what is important in life. Friendship - thanks to that, we can do everything and we are happy, because there is always somebody who can help us. This book also shows us, how to be a good person, how to live with other people and primarily that good always wins over evil. Harry Potter is also very interesting and for children who belive in magic, it's a very good book.

ILLNESS

Do you know this feeling when you are so sick that you don't have any power to wake up and go to bathroom, but in your head you have so many different ideas what to do to make your life better? What I mean, you lay in your bed with runny nose and cough and you think about all the responsibilities  for work or school, you see a huge mess in your house and finally you are simply hungry and when you try to wake up - it's the most exhaustive thing in your life. Yeah, it's pretty annoying.

So what can we do in this situation? First of all, don't forget that you must be completely healthy very quicly, so you don't have so many options. We must sleep a lot, because it will help us.
When you really want to do something, take your laptop to bed and work. Do all the stuffs on your computer. But don't do the things that demand creativity (it's dead when you are sick), do all this boring work like filling out paperwork, you can prepare your flashcards if you are learning new language etc.
In fact, we don't want to work while we are sick.  So I propose watching TV series all day long. We can also watch a comedy or animated film. We can play games on the Internet (I really like those where you prepare hot-dogs or other food). We can read our favourites blogs or watch something on YouTube. We can paint something (for exmaple our pain, it could be helpful).

Don't get sick, it's stupid.
